This is a must tour for those who visit San Sebastian for its wine and food, and those who want to explore its coastline. We will visit the coastal towns of Zarautz, Getaria and Zumaia. In Getaria we will visit a Txakoli Winery learning all about the winemaking process, the vineyards and more; then, we will have a sitting wine tasting, enjoying three types of Txakoli wine accompanied by local food delicacies. After your wine tasting we will head to the port of Getaria giving you free time to enjoy a typical coastal lunch specialized in grilled fish. Then we will take a scenic coastal drive to the famous Flysch of Zumaia, (made famous by the TV show Game of Thrones) and we will have plenty of time to stroll on the beach admiring the majestic views.

The Story Behind the Photo: A 60-Million-Year Masterpiece
The jagged, vertical layers of rock you see at Itzurun Beach are known as the Flysch. These formations are a rare geological record that stretches back over 60 million years.
Walking along these rocks with North Coast Tours is like walking through the pages of a history book:
