This tour runs throughout the Basque coast visiting the most iconic places all the way from San Sebastian to Bilbao (or the other way around). Visit some of the best know and important towns in the Basque Coast in a relaxed and informative manner: the Flysch, Gernika and Gaztelugatxe among them! You will enjoy a gourmet lunch and a coffee break included in the price . Finally you will have the option of visiting the Guggenheim museum on your own.
You can take advantage of this tour using it as a transfer from San Sebastian to Bilbao (or backwards). This should be your number one tour when you visit the Basque Country!

The itinerary can be done as described below, or the other way around:
- 9:00 pick up: drive to Zarautz and Getaria and take a walking tour in the last one. This coastal town is known for being the birthplace of Juan Sebastian Elkano (first circumnavigation of the world with Ferdinand Magellan) and Cristobal Balenciaga high fashion designer. It is also known for its medieval streets, grilled fish restaurants and Txakoli white wine!
- Visit the famous Flysch in the city of Zumaia: walk down the beach to admire this incredible geological formation
- Walking tour in the historic town of Gernika: symbol of the Basque political autonomy, and known for the infamous bombing that inspired Picasso’s masterpiece
- Gourmet Pintxos Lunch in Gernica, included in the price
- Visit San Juan de Gaztelugatxe (Game of Thrones) for a picture stop and coffee break (included in the price)
- Bilbao: picture stop at the Guggenheim museum (you may stay in Bilbao to visit the museum and come back by bus after)
- 5:00 pm, drop off in your city of origin (or another one)

On this tour we do 5 stops: Getaria, Zumaia Flysch, Gernika, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe and Bilbao (Guggenheim).
Yes, since this is a private tour we can customize it to your preferences.
Yes, we do a gourmet pintxos lunch in the town of Gernika, where we also will do a walking city tour visiting the replica of the Picasso’s painting and remains of the infamous bombing.
On this tour we will not hike up to the chapel on top of Gaztelugatxe. We have another tour called “Hike Gaztelugatxe” where we spend a long time hiking and exploring the area.
We will go to Bilbao for some pictures of the museum. If you want to stay and visit the museum we can drop you off there and you can take a bus back, which are very convenient and frequent.
